It&#8217;s mandate is to&nbsp;oversee the nation\u2019s open market operations (i.e. the&nbsp;<strong>Fed\u2019s<\/strong>&nbsp;buying and selling of&nbsp;<strong>United States<\/strong>&nbsp;Treasury securities). This&nbsp;<strong>Federal Reserve<\/strong>&nbsp;committee makes key decisions about&nbsp;<strong>Interest Rates<\/strong>&nbsp;and the growth of the&nbsp;<strong>United States<\/strong>&nbsp;money supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 27th of January, the <strong>FOMC&nbsp;<\/strong>will hold their first&nbsp;<strong>Monetary Policy&nbsp;<\/strong>meeting of 2021, where they are expected to hold their <strong>Interest Rates <\/strong>at the current &lt;0.25%.
